What is Digital Signature ?
A Digital Signature is a secure way of signing Electronic Documents. It contains an Algorithm that encrypts the signature to generate a unique Signature Certificate, making it practically impossible to duplicate or tamper with.
There is no relationship between signer's handwritten signature and Digital Signature. The Visible portion of the digital signature is the Signer's Name, Title and Firm Name, along with the Certificate Serial Number and the Certification Authority Name. It is a secure form for transacting Contracts, Images, Letters, etc, (may be digitally signed and sent electronically in seconds) with the private or public sectors, no matter the distance.
The people still are not well versed with the importance of these DIGITAL SIGNATURES thus the DIGITAL SIGNATURES are now stored in the E-TOKEN. (E-Token)
